चौपाई: कन्दर्प अगणित अमित छवि, नवनीलनीरज सुन्दरम्। पट् पीत मानहु तडितोरूचि, शुचि नौमी जनक सुतावरम्॥

Meaning:
Chorus: O devotee, worship Ram Chandra, the merciful one, who removes the intense fear of worldly existence. With lotus-like eyes, lotus-like face, lotus-like hands, and lotus-like feet, red as a ruby.
Verse 1: With countless and infinite beauty like that of Cupid, he is beautiful as a blue lotus. With yellow garments, his appearance is like lightning, and he is pure, the son of Janaka's daughter.
Verse 2: Worship the friend of the poor, the sun of the day, the destroyer of the lineage of demons and Daityas. The joy of Raghu's clan, the moon of Kaushal, the son of Dasharatha.
Verse 3: With a beautiful crown, earrings, and tilak mark, and a generous body adorned with ornaments. With bow and arrow in his lowered arms, he is the conqueror in battle, the remover of Khara's dust.
Verse 4: Thus says Tulsidas, the mind-ravisher of Shankara and Shesha and the sages. Make Ramchandra reside in the garden of my heart, and annihilate the wicked hordes of Kama and other demons.
